Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors
TAPS provides compassionate care and lifelong support to the families of America’s fallen heroes. Through grief counseling, peer mentoring, community events, and critical resources, TAPS helps surviving spouses, children, parents, siblings, and battle buddies find hope and healing. Since 1994, more than 100,000 survivors have turned to TAPS to honor their loved ones and rebuild their lives.
A word from this Giving Partner:
Every day, an average of 25 new survivors come to TAPS for support. This includes both adults and children, with a significant portion (25%) being children who have lost a loved one. The loss of a loved one, especially in the military community, creates a ripple effect of grief that extends beyond the immediate family. TAPS supports anyone grieving the loss of a military member or veteran, regardless of the manner of death. To meet the growing demand for our services and ensure that no survivor is left alone in their grief, we urgently need increased funding. Every day, we have an opportunity to do something that matters and makes a difference. Pirates Cove and Pirates Island Adventure Golf are making a meaningful impact by each of your 29 locations choosing to support TAPS' mission and our vision of what it can be for years to come. So, thank you

What Makes HFOT Different?
Rebuilding Lives is the most important aspect of our mission, therefore, we stay in contact with our Veterans after home delivery. Homes For Our Troops provides a pro-bono financial planner for three years to assist.
Our Funding
We also provide homeownership education and warranty coverage to ensure Homes for Our Troops is a publicly funded nonprofit, with approximately 65 percent of our operational budget generated by
that the Veteran is set up for long-term success as a homeowner. One staff section’s sole focus is following up with our individual donors, private and family foundations, and community fundraisers nationwide who step up to help our American Veterans, and we also have a peer mentoring program consisting of Veterans and spouses in the HFOT program. To improve by coordinating everything from lemonade stands to golf tournaments. The remaining 35 percent comes from corporate supporters this support, we continue to expand our network of nonprofits, corporations, and government entities to provide assistance
in the form of cash and donated materials.
